Laboratory Services

Grampian Soil Surveys is continually expanding the range of services provided and has installed extensive computer networking. Both laboratory data and geotechnical logs may be AGS formatted and electronically transferred to clients. The benefits of this facility are passed to the client in terms of efficiency and competitive prices.

Our testing laboratory can offer a comprehensive range of geotechnical and environmental tests and is capable of handling large quantities of samples at any one time. All geotechnical testing is performed to BS1377 : 1990 to UKAS specifications. Chemical testing, generally to enhance methods, has been optimized for efficiency eg UK standard turn around for TPH testing is just 2 hours from receipt of sample.

Grampian Soil Surveys has obtained UKAS Accreditation in recognition of our commitment to quality assurance proceedures throughout our operations. This nationwide standard provides our clients with an assurance of quality service, from their initial inquiry to the issue of their final report. Grampian Soil Surveys is proud to be the first, and only, Site Investigation Company in the north of Scotland to have achieved this standard.
