Working systems which ensure highest possible Health & Safety at work are a constant requirement of our customers. In order to meet these, and to ensure our staff have the best possible working conditions, a new DANDO 2000 shell & auger drilling rig has just been delivered. After completion of a manufacturer run training course for our drilling staff the new rig was put straight to work. Health & Safety improvements are huge. In particular, rig erection by electric motor removes the very dangerous previous practice which has caused many incidents of rig collapse industry wide. We no longer approve shell & auger rig erection by the main diesel engine in any of our work method statements.
